Wynn has been juggling starting lineups quite a bit lately. Quay Miller getting the nod tonight, probably specifically to try to match up physically w/ Pili.

edit--Rees is using a little knee scooter thing. I hadn't heard any mention of her being injured. The local media does a terrible job of covering this team.

Stress reaction, out for the remainder of the season.

USC got off to a hot start but Huskies came roaring back, UW up 15-10 at first media TO.

UW was up 24-12 but USC scored the last 5 points of the quarter. Pili and Overbeck doing plenty of damage, but USC is playing 3 small guards with them and are getting abused on mismatches on D.

That has to be one of my biggest pet peeves. Defender pushes the driver along the base line and refs calls the TO when they step on the baseline. Yeah, of course they are going to go out of bounds when the defender shoved them there. See that too often. Gotta call the foul there. It was blatantly obvious arm bar.

Huskies shot the ball really well most of the half but went cold at the end. Still up 40-30. I've seen this before, we'll see if they can play well for more than 20 minutes. Dawgs are killing them on the glass.

Miller's season stats aren't much to look at, but she has her moments when she flashes lots of potential. She's going toe to toe w/ Pili and I'd say outplaying her a bit so far.

Here we go again. Lead down to 3 in the first 4 minutes of Q3.

USC has gotten every single call this quarter and UW has gone ice cold like they usually do after halftime. I'm so sick of this routine.

USC post players on roller skates, no traveling against them but they've nailed the Huskies at least 3 times in Q3. Come on refs, how about a little fairness? Call it the same both ways, it shouldn't be that hard.

UW leading 54-47 thru Q3.

UW clinging to a 4 point lead w/ 4 minutes left. Just once this year hold onto a lead, please!

UW is tired of losing. Melgoza and Peterson w/ 3 big 3's down the stretch. 70-60 w/ under 2 minutes left.

Crappy FT shooting leaving the door open, USC has hit a couple had to have them 3s. 72-66 w/ 30 sec. left.

3-8 from the FT line by my count in crunch time. 73-66. This should be over.

There we go. 75-66 final. 25 for Melgoza, moved to #11 on the school's all time scoring list.
