Glad to see CTT get her 500th in such a fitting fashion - an ugly, gritty, will to victory game. It's interesting that a mere 12 of U$C's 75 points came from returning players. The rest were from the frosh and one grad transfer (Jeune). Trakh's done an impressive job with recruiting and there's more upside potential at USC than any time since the beginning of the Cassie Harberts era.

Apart from the unlucky Irish, it's hard to remember a team that has so totally transformed from one season to the next, though Stanford's not far off given Smith's graduation, our injuries to Carrington and Dodson, Fingall's return from ACL, and how good our frosh are.

Well, there are your neighbors Cal. Only 2 or 3 contributors from last season's team returned (#5, 7 and 8 in scoring). Must be a Pac 12 thing.

All is well in the Pac. ASU playing ugly, USC struggling to win games but being a big pain in the back side. Same as ever it seems.

Yeah, I was just thinking that USC seems to always be good for the spoiler's role at least a couple times every season. Yet they never seem to do enough to make the NCAA tournament, except that one year under Cynthia.
