South Florida joins UConn and Missouri State as the only teams on the Massey top 25 not from P5 conferences. Ranked 24th, the Bulls are closely followed by Central Florida.

Jose is working his magic yet again. In their only loss, to Baylor, they were ahead going into the fourth quarter. Mississippi State was a top-ten team when the Bulls defeated them, although that victory isn’t nearly as impressive in hindsight.

They appear to be finishing the season with back-to-back games against UCF, with a re-rematch likely in the tourney.

It's still very impressive. Mississippi State may not be good. But it's still very impressive and respectable when you compare where each team are

When USF and UCONN were both going through COVID pauses a few weeks ago because of other teams, I wanted us to schedule them so bad. USF never got the credit it deserved for being a good team because we always beat them so handily-but they were always good and I'm happy for them. I definitely root for them.

When we lived in CT, we had season tickets for the XL for 5 seasons. Then we moved to FL. First year down here we purchased a 3 game package with one of the games being UConn. We have had season tickets to USF since the fall of 2017.

And yes, when UConn came to town we wore our UConn gear! And the USF fans around us were fine with it. One USF fan said they loved UConn coming in. It paid the bills because there are a ton of UConn fans down here. The Villages would come to Tampa for the game with at least 2 buses.

USF is a fun team to watch. Jose does a really good job with the team. Facilities are great. Two years ago USF started serving food, buffet style, to all the season ticket holders. Its part of the ticket package.
