A veritable offensive explosion in the past 3 minutes, with UCF sharpshooter Georgia Gayle hitting two 3s and forcing a timeout by José. UCF is up 9-6 with 1:20 left in 1Q.

I have to say, Holly has come a long way with her commentary this season. This is the most comfortable I have ever heard her on the mic. Lord knows her press conferences were downright painful.

It was quite the slugfest, but UCF completed the season sweep of its I-4 rival.

Kay Kay Wright finished with 24 points. She shot only 2 of 14 in the 1st half, but was 4 of 9 in the second. UCF really won with defense. USF shot only 2-18 from 3.

And with the win, UCF's RPI inches up to #41.
