This is the game of the day. The biggest test for both teams so far this season. Both ranked nationally in the top 5. Baylor has turned in wins over major programs Indiana and Washington State the last two days. It's hard to tell how formidable Baylor is this year. They began the season in usual fashion by opening up with "soft" mid-major teams that were nowhere close to being their equal in terms of talent or experience.

Both of these teams should win 25+ games this year, and go deep into the tournament. I would like to see this game since both of them are on UConn's schedule the 2nd half of the season. Unfortunately, this game is pay per view only. We'll have to settle for reading the game summary and box score. Baylor lost one game last year (@ Stanford) en route to winning the national championship. They're going to be a real tough out this year. They picked up this season were they left off in April. I like the Bears in this one by double digits.

I just want to see t’ea Cooper go off on her old team and it’ll be cool to see her go against ty Harris! I also feel curious to see how the 2 other freshmen guards they start deal with the defense of DiDi Richards and Juicy Landrum! They are both outstanding defensive players

Key for SC in this is if Boston can stay out of foul trouble. She has to be on the floor for SC.

The key for me is who can hit the most outside shots, if SC can get an edge in 3 point shooting, they can win the game. If Ty Harris can't control the turnover component for SC, then Baylor wins. This is a huge opportunity for Harris today, opposite Cooper, who she knows well and a chance to lead her team. For Baylor, this is the best team by far that they have played this year. Without Cox, regardless if they win, if it is close, they will have impressed.

Watching a little of Baylor, I think they are the better offensive team at this point in time and probably an equal defensive e squad. I think maybe a consistent ten point margin might be right.

But I'm excited to see the matchup.

Carolina has things to work on when they get home, but good showing tonight would be spirit lifting.
