Refs calling everything for Howard so far... that block by Brea was clean smh

Enjoying the Howard/Grissett battle. Not going to be a fun day for Howard. She rolls off of Lele, immediately finds herself bodied up by Saxton.

SC's defense looks quite good. Kentucky is forcing too much to Howard. I dont think Boston has scored a ton but more than usual she looks remarkably quick and agile for her size and stature. She's fun to watch.

South Carolina hit 8 threes against UConn. So far 0-4 today through three quarters and they're still running away with the game.

59-43 after 3Q.

Feels like UK deserves better than this margin but South Carolina has winning ugly in its bag.

Good defense and not enough weapons around Howard.

little odd that there wasn't much LeLe

Man we look tired! They need to stay strong and push through these last two games.

Again, Boston shows she's one of the best defensive players in the nation along with Richards, and probably the most impactful.

I'd take Cox ahead of either but that may be my top 3

felt like it was to give playing time. Only sense I could make of those rotations.

seems to me she’s limiting Brea to one thing and that’s defense. I would’ve tried to post her up and let her go to work down low especially when Kentucky only had one guard over 6’0”.

Kentucky is playing very hard lately and a bit better than earlier in the year.

Brea had 3 fouls and LeLe was playing lights out. Dawn had a lot of different players on Howard. They flat wore her out.

That's the game plan for players like Howard (we've done the same to Chennedy Carter in the past as well). You'll never stop a player of that caliber, but you can surely slow them down. Very few teams have the depth that SC does to carry that out though.

Great game by Zia Cooke, and Grissett was strong off the bench to fill in for Brea after she got into foul trouble. Beal started off strong as well despite those fouls, so whoever was guarding both Beal and Grissett had a hard day.

The final stretch of the season will be a bit of a grinder. We already won the SEC title out-right, so will that make the team relax? Florida just beat Arkansas, and that game will be in Gainseville, then a very tough Texas A&M. This could be back-to-back trap games with both opponents still fighting for SECT seeding positioning as well as beyond. The Gamecocks staff needs to sit the team down and keep them focused.
