"From an Irish perspective, the Connecticut coach is the guy who wears
the black hat. Philly guy, all the way down to his abrasive
personality and proud of it.

He's the fella Irish fans love to hate."

This guy asked a question during Geno's presser and then writes this hit piece.

I'm not sure, but she is indeed quite attractive. I'm afraid however, that any overtures in her direction, whoever she may be, would lead to a reaction similar similar to the one depicted in the gif. :)

Is that Neil DeGrasse Tyson? He's an extremely smart dude. If he doesn't get the article, then the article sucked...

Just an FYI. He's not thought of any better around ND and South Bend. He isn't the regular correspondent. He just occasionally adds a piece when something important is going on with the team. He is normally there to criticize ND's players. Never puts much research into his articles. His normal pattern is an article condemning every possible attribute of the team, then when ND wins a game he writes that he doubts they can he praises them....then lurks in the shadows for another month and pounces on the opportunity when they have an off shooting night. I use to write him all the time. He always responded "glad you enjoyed the game" which makes kinda laugh. Curt Rallo is the normal correspondent and has the AP vote. Al Lesar use to just write the fishing and hunting outlook section of the Sunday addition when I lived in South Bend. I like to refer to him as a "hack".

LOL

What a terribly written piece -- what's the point? What did Geno say that he is referring to? There's no take away. And the way he takes quotes out of context from the press conference .... he's making me miss Jeff Jacobs.

Someone much wiser than I once said:
"Stupid is as stupid does"

Do they realize their own coach is from Philly?

Or that Geno and Muffet have been good friends for decades? I couldn't finish the article, and I use the word generously.

And there's one good way to silence such writers....... :)

I warned you guys that it was moronic. But like driving past a highway wreck you just had to look.;-)

Let the Notre Dame media enjoy themselves now because for at least the Next four years the Irish won't beat UCONN. What are they going to write about?

Pretty sensitive, aren't we? I didn't find the article unflattering either to Geno or UConn, just contentious. If Geno were a sportswriter, that is the style in which he would write.
