Sort of OT: Orange Pre-school Crush

My 3 year old granddaughter's pre-school in Westchester County does a color of the week where the kids bring in something that shows the color. This week is orange week. There happen to be a fair # of Syracuse alums both in his area and among the pre- school parents. My son is a Michigan alum and he and even his little daughter are big fans. So he had a cartoon of an orange being vanquished by a wolverine and that's what his daughter brought in for orange day there were a fair number of preschoolers who disagreed with the sentiment. My son did send an explanatory note to the teacher. The cartoon actually isn't scary.

Even SU isn't recruiting preschoolers. Funny thing in my family. I have another son who is on the faculty at SUNY Syracuse. A totally separate university from SU, but you wouldn't know it. My sons offices are literally 20 feet from the Dome. He isn't a real fan, but his 7 year old son is into Orange hoops and football. So I have grandchildren on both sides of 'F pool. I'm in the Blue camp because, as the saying goes, my son and my money went to Michigan. I did take a summer course at SU law so long ago that the Dome wasn't on the drawing board yet.
