Incredible game.

Crazy how small the gap has become between the higher and lower seeds. This was a massive massive upset as a 4 v 13.

Today both 3 seeds lost and nobody blinks an eye.

Crazy game.

But did you see that zone Syracuse was playing? What a thing of beauty.

Hey remember when arenas still had their own floor and didn't have to put in the generic NCAA painted floor?

This is getting into "In my day..." territory, but I was thinking the same thing last night. It's not a huge thing, but it was kind of cool seeing the different court designs around the country during the tournament.

I was at that game! It was beautiful. Although I still have myself convinced that the amount of pure joy I got out of that game caused Uconn to have negative mojo clunker against NC State later on in same venue. F'in Julius Hodge.

The best part of that video is that Tom Brennan is just a fan like everyone else in the building.

Len Elmore tried his best to blab his way through Gus Johnson's call. Couldn't quite do it.

I actually picked Vermont to go to the Sweet 16 that year beating Michigan State.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. I would guess it's fallout from more and more players leaving early. It was only a matter of time before senior laden mid majors started beating 3 4 and 5 seeds at a higher rate, especially given that most of them have been playing good basketball having just won their conference tournaments.

I was a little surprised Coppenrath didn't make the NBA he was like a poor mans Dirk, I was at a game when Vermont played at BU, at one point in the game Vermont had 37 points and Coppenrath had 33 of them. I remember when Vermont started out 9-0 on us in 04 and once we stuck Emeka on Coppenrath we rolled from there.
