With all the very good guards UConn will have, if Fudd commits, why would Citron want to commit to UConn? If UConn does not sign any bigs then I would love for her to come to UConn. Sign the best players available.

As @UConnCat has already pointed out 2021 is loaded with big guards and keep in mind that UCONN has already snagged one=Saylor Poffenbarger. I loved the Saylor signing for UCONN because of size and scrappy attitude. Azzi Fudd committing to UCONN would be idea but since that has not happened yet there are good reasons for UCONN to keep looking. The primary reason being none of the players have committed elsewhere and that includes Azzi. A secondary reason is the position diversity among the recruits. For example Saylor Poffenbarger could potentially play positions 2-4 at UCONN. Who is/was UCONN looking at the PG/SG/Wing position in this class:

Olivia Miles (1-2)
Saniya Rivers (2-3)
Payton Verhulst (2-3)
Talia Von Oelhoffen (2-3)
Sonia Citron (2-3)
Taylor Bigby (2-3)

There are a bunch of really good Guards/Wings in the 2021 class. Some of them look like the same player. And then there's Azzi Fudd.

Quick follow up on the specific though in bold;
Miles, Bigby, & Rivers look like the same because they are the HS &AAU team's best player and de facto PG.
Citron, Oelhoffen, Ducharme, & Verhulst are fundamentally sound players, good/great shooters, perhaps best equipped for coming off screens, motion offense, spread the floor the catch & shoot game.
Adams, Key, Poffenbarger & Demetre ( Stanford) look like the same player big wings 6'2"-6'3" that can utilize size to create mismatches or step out and knock down perimeter shots.
Azzi Fudd can seamlessly morph into any of the above.
