See, I left one for you @imno1! Lol. I actually debated ”Rainy Night in Georgia,” which I love, but I was torn about which version. I love Benton’s voice but Otis Rush’s cover may be my favorite. I didn’t realize until I saw Tony Joe White at Cafe Nine several years ago that it is his original:

What, no "It's Raining Men"?

Thought about the mandolin duo (Bruce Hornsby "Mandolin Rain" and Rod Stewart's "Mandolin Wind") but decided on this historic oldie, which was the first-ever record played on BBC1 when it was launched in 1967. Also, The Move (and songwriter Roy Wood) lost the rights to song royalties to then PM Harold Wilson, who sued the band regarding a risque promotional postcard to market the single.
