Let me preface this by saying I might not know great brass when I hear it. But these are some songs that I like that feature some horns. Some well known, some not as much.

Okay this isn't a real band, it's from a movie, but just go with it.

 
I'm gonna risk getting a foul called on me for totally violating the topic of the thread. I was thinking this song had a horn in it, but it doesn't. But it's cool so I wanna post it anyway. A flute and a bassoon (I think?) got lost and found themselves in the middle of a raging folk metal performance. And this song works really well whatever you want to do with it, I've heard Apocalyptica totally shred it with four cellos.

 
Okay back on topic, Dutch symphonic metal band Epica did a concert with a full orchestra, so of course plenty of horns to go around. Here's some theme music from Star Wars. Sounds tasty. Darth Vader deserves some electric guitars for his entrance music.

It may not have horns, but it has a hurdy gurdy, which is worth a few horns.
