Not sure which direction she's going, but we know where she came "from". I guess that's a direction, sorta.

I know this is Bonnie's song, but I really like Susan's version. And then throw in some "jazz flute" and Derek on Sugaree is just a bonus.

Angel From Montgomery - Tederucks Band

Vashti Bunyan - Train Song:

"It's many hundred miles, and it won't be long"

Steely Dan - Home at Last:

Well the danger on the rocks is surely past
Still I remain tied to the mast
Could it be that I have found my home at last
Home at last....

A lovely ditty from Carly's Martha's Vineyard show in the 80's. The song is literally about getting back to the Vineyard after a storm (or some other maritime issue).

Little Feat: "And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari"

Based on your sidnature, I figured that was pretty much permanently posted. :p

It's a Beautiful Day - White Bird:

White bird must fly
Or she will die
White bird must fly
Or she will die.....

I have been from Tucson to Tumcari numerous times, good beer, good food, great photo ops ( Bosque Del Apache NWR, White Sands Nat'l Monument), etc - hope to do it again some time. :):)
