Marshall Tucker Band doing "24 Hours at a Time" live back in 1974. Tommy Caldwell introduces Charlie Daniels at the very beginning of the song. In those days, Charlie was not famous person he would become in later years, he was trying to gain traction, as the Tucker boys were. This live version is simply incredible, one of the finest uptempo road driving songs I know of:

Jaco had so many troubles. And then he got killed in a bar fight after being thrown out of a Santana show in South Florida. What a waste. 36 years old.
