Songs About Relationships

.-.
Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson with a song about married life. They were married to each other at the time, but have since divorced.

.-.
Fathers and sons, fathers and kids, lovers, self: Bruce covers a laundry list of thoughts about relationships, including the thought that many potential parents have when contemplating the arrival of a new, little one, 'I'm not gonna F it up this time".

Then you have those relationships you should probably walk away from. Works well at volume:

Classic song about love hate relationships. "I dont like you but I love you" . . . "You treat me badly, I love you madly"

Been done by many but this is my favorite. Also one of the few songs another beatle (George) sings a harmony voice below Lennons voice. They goof up the lyrics a couple times on this one.

There's only one version, and one version only of this song. Written and performed by one of America's greatest songwriters. Anything else is just a pale imitation. And yeah, I did see him do this twice in the early, early 60's.

Tighter!

While I'm here how about these two guys, who I saw do this exactly this way, doing this Spector song. Great opening lyric.

I really like Billie's and Ella's version, but this is pretty sweet. David Clayton Thomas' voice is perfect and Blood, Sweat, and Tears was special:
