OT: Songs About Friends

Not really sure if it's about 'friends', but "Friends" is in the title.
Unusual song, to say the least.....12 minutes worth....
Jon & Vangelis - The Friends Of Mr Cairo

From Joni Mitchell's wonderful Court and Spark album - Car on a Hill:

He makes friends easy
He's not like me
I watch for judgement anxiously
Now, where in the city can that boy be?

I'm a big traditional-jazz fan, and am going to the Bix Festival at Bix Beiderbecke's birthplace, Davenport, IA this week.

(for those who don't know, Bix was one of the early greats of jazz)

Here's a tune he recorded, but this version was done in the 50's or early 60's by Eddie Condon.

.-.
Greg Brown- the Poet Game:

I had a friend who drank too much
And played too much guitar -
And we sure got along...

.-.
A deep cut from Ed Bruce's 1976 self-titled album - Mose Rankin. Song about an unusual friendship.
"Ain't if funny where a man can find a friend"
