I had ‘em.My question is, we there people who did not pick them? One of the easiest 11/6 upsets to predict that I have seen. Great game.
I had ‘em.
I saw them beat Iona 55-54 in the first round of the ‘85 tourney at the HCC. Hughes had his usual game, Brother Mau—20-some points on 30-some shots. Iona could have tied or won the game in the last seconds but Tony Hargraves missed the front end of a 1-and-1.I have them also but thanks for the memories brother swami ..... Alfrederick Hughes loved his game what a scorer.
I’m an idiot who had Miami in the Sweet 16 beating Tennessee. SDSU was my 6-11 upset. My question is, were there people who did not pick them? One of the easiest 11/6 upsets to predict that I have seen. Great game.
It really wasn't that easy. They needed a 28 foot buzzer beater to win. But yes, I had them in all 4 pools I am in.My question is, were there people who did not pick them? One of the easiest 11/6 upsets to predict that I have seen. Great game.
Ewing’s guys took care of Daren Queenan’s Lehigh Engineers in that bracket. Koncak’s Mustangs blew out ODU. Temple beat Va Tech. I saw all 4 games that day but have no memory of the Temple game.Ha, my dad sent me a text this afternoon to see if I remembered watching Hughes at the Civic Center in the 1985 NCAA. He, Ewing and John Konkak made for some great basketball.
Last seen doing Chevy commercials...Way to bring Alfredrick back. 6'4" athlete, in playground shape. Strong w/ a 40 oz. gut and unbounded confidence. Came out of the locker room shooting, gunning, gunning, gunning. Lot of fun watching Alfredrick Hughes.
