Can you imagine how the Boneyard would react to a game where the distances of the three point line were different on each side of the court? The scoring splits in the game did reflect that difference as well.

it can very well make a difference. In soccer and basketball more points are scored in the second half (a team with depth would have an advantage).

It would be nice to have the best field side in your favor for the second half.

Kind of related ... I want a rule where a missed 3 pointer means a loss of possession.

I've played that in pickup before (with a bunch of old dudes who hate 3s). I think they played if you MAKE the 3, you keep possession too since they didn't do winners.

It was bizarre, but I liked it.

It's obviously true with things like wind in football as well. Hockey and baseball have non-regulation sized fields, but I don't think that's the same really.

Difference is both teams know the field is uneven. Same with wind. Teams know. The earlier games the teams didn’t know
