Looks like the team received their championship rings tonight at Geno's. Nice.

The comment is right in that ND will never have the 2015 championship rings, but ND does have a championship and will probably win another in the next few years. What they'll never have is 10 or 11 of them.

Maybe but not probably.

ND went from the Final Four in 1997 to a national championship in 2001 to "good but never elite"...until 2011. From then on, ND made five consecutive Final Fours and four trips to the national championship game. That's a hell of a run, and surely the luck of the Irish will turn eventually. As long as it's not this season!

Every team needs 2 or 3 go to players.............UCONN has 8 this season and maybe, 9..........They will wear out good teams with to much talent and UCONN is too deep this year..........NC # 11 from April 2016 in INDY!!!!!.........

If ND goes to the Final Four this year it will practically be a home game for them.

We have Geno and they don't!!!!

ND may rack up any number of second place finishes

8-9 go to players?

I think the real number is about half that.
Depends how you define "go to" player. If you define it as the " primary" player you run your offense through and the player "most" likely to have the ball with the game on the line eg. Tiffany Mitchell of South Carolina , then I think the real number UCONN number is 4 and that is the real strength of these past few UCONN teams. IMO go to means implies a certainly amount of pedictably- like when ND knew that Tiffany Mitchell was going to get the ball (& rightly so) in the last few seconds of the FF game. UCONN can comfortably "Go to" any of the 4 returning starters to win a game, last year it was five. Most other teams have 1, two and your are prabably a really good team, 4 & 5 go to players and you are spoiled.
