They know what's going on. They're all in bunker mode. They maneuver to survive not thrive. Warde is the worst offender by far. He's the guy responsible for overall program health and he's more interested in keeping his new found pocket change than rocking a sinking boat. Better to blame others and fix nothing, than to tryand risk bring blamed. It's really pathetic.
If I was AD, I would have sat my big bald fat ass down in Herbst's office and said we going out to get the best and I want full support. We are starting over tomorrow and we will build. We have one year grace with a great schedule. It will take 2 to 3 years but the fans will stick eith us if we show a string vision and commitment. I need budget to work on a conference plan and I am parking my ass out at the ACC, SEC, Big10 and Big12 and not coming back until I get a deal done. I am meeting with every AD from power conferences and getting OCC games. You won't see me eating expensive meals at Morton's playing the role following UConn Basketball like a little groupie. I'm going to get done and I want full support. Are you in or not? If not, you don't need me.
