4 titles. 2 in 4 years. Last two outta nowhere. Maybe the tech wasn't quite there even in 2011, but I've rewatched the NCAA tourni games, or parts of the games, many times. I'm more infatuated with this win than any previous accomplishment. The stars aligning for it all were amazing. I still can't believe it. Anybody else? Pinch me.

probably has alot to do with all of the content tcf15 has provided us. I've found myself many times bored at work and then gone right to the phone and watched highlights and now parts of the tourney games since they're right there on youtube. didn't really have that option back in 11 as the tourney was going along unless you wanted to go to the comp and watch MMOD, and tcf15's clips are 10x the better option.

I lost my recordings of this year's games before I could rip them on the a dvd; thanks alot AT&T. Then I remembered tcf15 and sighed a great sigh of relief. And I watched the Iowa St game and made fun DeAndre Kane.

What an amazing run, dream come true. I thought we were blessed in 2011 and now I don't even know what to say.

High Def makes a huge difference as well. Shame that the quality is so bad (in comparison) years ago. These days teams/players have it good with a video file library that will last forever and never degrade.

Come NCAA tournament time the stars didn't necessarily align. Beat the 2 seed Villanova and the 4 seed Iowa St. We got stuck with a 7 seed against a really tough 10. To close it out, we beat the 3 best teams in the tournament with authority. That's just straight up running the gauntlet.

Good fortune: Getting to play is the MSG regional. ISU missing Niang. And most importantly, not having to face Louisville.

Every team needs a little good fortune to win though.

I really think the 2011 and 2014 unexpected championship runs were payback laws of average karma from some of the decade of near misses we had to suffer through especially in the 90s. Not making the Final 4 in '90, '94-'96, and '98 was agony. It was like we were....Pitt. Only instead of excruciating 2nd round losses we had excruciating Sweet 16/Elite 8 losses which hurts even more.

I think we all feel it, we're the luckiest fans in the world. These last 2 runs have been completely unbelievable, and must piss off the fans around the country who have thought it was their team's chance this year. Obviously fans of the big guns of the CBB world hate it, but I mean fans of teams like Butler and Wichita St... its gotta sting to have this underdog gang of misfits keep stealing tournements like its nothing but a little AAU ball

I know what to say. TWO times like that is NOT coincidence. Our University of Connecticut MBB team is just tougher in March & April tournament settings.

Just think of how many kids in fertile recruiting grounds like inner city NYC or Boston or Newark that are at the playground right now trying to imitate kembas step back or shabazz's rock the craddle pull up... dreaming of being a husky one day.

It wasn't out of nowhere. What's really impressive is how well Shabazz handled the pressure and how well Ollie coached, in all ways. Ollie is a basketball genius.

Plus, Kemba and Bazz just willed those two teams to championships...determined them to win.

As a fan, watching and experiencing this entire UConn run has been amazing. When you take a step back, be objective, and put UConn's run in proper context versus other "elite" programs its even more amazing!

Consider yourself pinched (in a manly, non-sexual sort of way)! These championships defy belief....it would be unbelievable if it wasn't true!

What are the odds of both 2011 and again in 2014?

And to imagine if we won a few Helm's Championships back before Rome fell. We'd be on top of the world.
