UConn continues to play at a very high level on both sides of the ball. Theyre showing guts determination and confidence. Their passing yesterday and shot selection was great. They played to their strengths. More importantly they played their game. This is a complete team and with the emergence of Christyn and Edwards UConn is more then just 3 scoring options. The team has discipline and leadership. UConn will not beat themselves.
Next up Baylor. Baylor is a great defensive team and relentless on the boards getting second and third shots. UConn has been rebounding as a team which imo is going to be big in this game. UConn also has a terrific passing team with great guards and Baylor doesnt have the guard play they had last season. Guards make plays and control the game. I believe UConn has a distinct advantage over Baylor there. UConn is also a better 3 pt shooting team and if Baylor is forced to shoot alot of treys they could be in for a long evening. Unless UConn goes ice cold shooting, I dont think Baylor can keep up with them. UConn has a balanced scoring attack which is lead by unselfish passing and pivotal execution. UConn win this one by double digits.
