This is a different UConn team. With a big in the middle there will be alot of hesitation going to the basket for opponents. ONO is now a force that must stay out of foul trouble. UConn can now extend their defense with ONO back and our top 7 can handle the ball. This is going to create problems for any body UConn faces from here on out. ONO is long and athletic and opponents are going to try and get her in foul trouble. The past 2 games she is playing smart. Yesterdays game was a game many thought UConn would have problems with. UConn did lead by 40. That says it all. With MW and CW steppin up and not deferring to the upper classman as much says alot about where we are and where we're headed. We're headed to the FF and thats gonna be alot of fun with this team.
So tonite we wait and see what happens. I expect UCF to be physical and I expect UConn to press and run . We've come a long way in a short time and we did it just in time and time is on our side because now is the time we've been waiting for all season and we look good better then anytime this season. This is UConn time. This is the NCAA time and now we are ready just in time. Baylor UConn ND and Miss St. in that order.
