Looking out at all that beautiful white stuff, I have decided my computer and a little research is a great way to spend my day! So ... from the NCAA record book with a filter for the current century - 2000-01 season forward:
Winning streaks: there are 5 streaks 40 games or longer - Uconn 90, 70, 55, 47, and Baylor 42
MOV: Uconn owns the top 9 seasonal MOVs and is headed for a tenth. The only threat to that top ten at the moment is Maryland who currently would slot in to number 8 after playing a very weak OOC - it is unlikely they will sustain through the rest of their conference schedule.
Field Goal Percentage Defense: Uconn owns the top 4, and 8 of the top 13. (Currently they are not in the top ten for this year, but are headed in that direction.)
Not a bad 15+ seasons!
