I almost have to laugh as I keep reading on this board how UConn is playing their best basketball now. Ummmmm based on what? Losing to Providence? Barely squeaking by a terrible Pitt team at home? Pulling out a miracle against a very weak West Virginia team? Losing yet again to Syracuse...which, oh by the way, as so many other threads have pointed out, is playing horribly right now. I just don't see anything different now from what we've seen all year. We are a very average team.

Thank God we can always count on some self-aggrandizing to come around and let us know that we shouldn't act like fans.

Yea...you're right. I was way off there. Drummond was obviously everything you'd expect the number 1 recruit in the country to be. Just like you thought, he was the final piece that put us over the top. He was as good as advertised... only if you looked at the advertisement for a 6'10" athletic guy who has absolutely no basketball fundamentals or passion for winning.

You were the one that started the bashing of Cinn and L'ville because THEY lack offense. My guess is you live somewhere where mirrors don't exist. 1) Being in Duke's bracket
2) Last time we lost to Syracuse in the BET semifinal (2009) they failed to win the tournament, and Louisville won it instead. We made it to a Final 4 that year.
3) This team is due for a big upset win.

In short, we are doomed.
