Lots of intrastate games - must be rivalry week.

1:00 #14 Florida State vs #16 Miami
1:00 #3 Notre Dame vs an unranked Virginia Tech that's 14-4

2:00 #22 Florida vs #23 Missouri

3:00 Duke vs No. Carolina in a bitter rivalry game
3:00 #7 Ohio State vs Rutgers on ESPN2

5:00 #2 South Carolina vs #10 Mississippi on ESPN2

7:00 #9 Arizona State vs Arizona on the PAC 10 network

9:00 #12 Stanford vs #20 UCLA on the PAC 10 network

Full schedule here

Also, at 2:00 USF vs UCF will be on ESPNU

#2 South Carolina vs #10 Mississippi St. BTW, that's the same Mississippi St. that beat SMU by 2 earlier this year.

South Carolina is a 4.5 point favorite on the road against Miss. St. It should be a good game
and a possible upset in the making with Miss. St. at home with big crowd.

#2 SC vs. #10 Mississippi State
#14 Florida State vs. #16 Miami
#22 Florida vs. #23 Missouri
#12 Stanford vs. #20 UCLA

Anyone think there will be upsets?

If you like offense, better not watch SC vs. MSU.. that game will be a low scoring slugfest.

I'm warning The Boneyard now so there's no disappointment in a few hours.

If you like offense, stay away from SC vs. MSU.

Here's your warning, take it.

.-.
Of course, I be a much happier camper if I could get the PAC network.

Looks like South Carolina has a tougher schedule heading into February 8. Kentucky and A&M, along with Miss State, are on the menu for the Gamecocks.

Does Directv carry PAC?

Sounds like a classic UConn-Rutgers game. Root canals were more fun than those games.
yes, it's the NO2. Nitrous oxide makes a root canal better, but paradoxically, NO 2 implies less scoring.

Yea. We have not played spectacularly on the road and MSU matches up well with what we like to do offensively. They're big in the paint. If we can't slow down Vivians and our guards are cold from outside then it's going to be a LONG day for us. This will also probably be the biggest road environment we face until Tennessee in KVille..

This will be Coates and Wilson's first big test in the paint. I'm interested to see how they respond.

West Virginia (local talent, Bria Holmes) vs TCU on right now... Fox Sports channel (FCSP)

.-.
I will be at the Stanford v UCLA game at 6pm PST. UCLA @#20 could(I think they will) beat #12 Stanford.

By the way, with the timing working out I will also be at the Cal v USC game @2pm PST.

On the VaTech- ND game - 14-4 is impressive but 2-3 on the road ... not so much. And unfortunately for them, ND is not TN (or PSU.)

Score update - FSU and Miami are tied 31 all at the half.

ND up 31-11 over VA Tech at the half.

WVU takin' the wood to TCU, up 50-23 at the half.

Link for PAC 12 Feeds: http://media.twigs76.com/pac12/lf3/. May have to choose different State options to find the game you want to watch.

Watched a few minutes of this. VT is not a match for ND.

VaTech is just terrible; playing like this they would get whomped by Lubbock Christian. They shot 4-25 in the first half. They stand around on offense, they don't rebound, they're suckers for ND's high low- giving up easy layups. They don't run the floor well at all.

Definitely not worth tuning in for the 2nd half. How VaTech ever beat a top 20 team is a mystery to me.

Going to wait and watch OSU @ Rutgers. If RU plays well, they can definitely beat the shady McGuff bunch.

USF and UCF are tied with 9 points each midway through the first quarter.

On edit: UCF leads USF 14-11 at the beginning of the second half. Why can't USF play like that against UConn?

RU and Ohio State are tied at halftime: Mizzou is up by 10 over Florida at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The South Carolina line has moved from -4.5 up to -9.5.I guess that someone must be injured for
Miss. St. for the line to move that much.

I find this an interesting headline for a game in which the loser scored 11 points in the first half:
Turner, No. 3 Notre Dame women pull away from Virginia Tech
Seems like 'ND crushes the life out of Virginia Tech' would be a little more accurate and of they wanted to be sarcastic:
'Virginia Tech's valiant comeback bid falls short' since instead of being outscored three to one in the first half, they managed 30 points in the second while only giving up 49.

Jessica Shephard had 35 points and 20 rebounds at Michigan.

South Florida ended up beating UCF by 40. Laksa had 7 threes and 29 points. The cupboard may not be bare after Williams leaves.

Well you sure called it! 22-20 SC at the half. Neither team to 20 points until after :36 remaining in Q2

Probably taking their cues from McGraw's presser where the first thing she said was that ND came out a little fatigued, leading to the 11-7 slog of a 1st quarter. Rest of the game was a demolition job after that, of course.

Our Mizzou home girls beat FL by about 10 - don't remember the exact score but the game was certainly worth the price of admission. Attendance was announced as nearly 6,000.
