>>And, now, we must decide how far do we want to outkick our coverage in terms of what we saw before 23,543 — third-smallest UConn crowd ever — at Rentschler Field?

Do we play it snarky and ask, does it get any sweeter than a three-point victory in a dawdling three-and-half-hour game in near 90-degree temperatures against a I-AA — sorry, FCS — team that had lost last week by six points to Bryant?

Do we play it straight and point out that it took a second-half special team's play to furnish the difference in a victory against an FCS team?

Or do we punt it really, really long and point out that after two horrible turnovers in the first quarter, the Huskies showed great resolve to pull out a victory and the offense is now only an inch or two from doing serious damage every week? That until Stony Brook put together a 14-play, 88-yard drive in the fourth quarter, the Seawolves had four measly first downs over 51 minutes, 21 seconds, and given an inch here or there, the Huskies offense could have broken this game open? And this augers well for the rest of the season?<<
