I’m glad that our boys are coming back but this portal concept is sad. Legit question - Is the concept of the student athlete nearing extinction? Do eligibility requirements still exist? With the growth of AAU programs and rampant gambling in all things sports related, what is happening shouldn’t surprise anyone. Personally, I think that there will be major changes ahead or college athletics will take a huge hit going forward.

There's probably a couple other steps to be taken before the Presidents say, "enough already!"

Next should be mid-year transfers.

After all, if a player suffered a season ending injury during first semester on a championship level team why should you not be able to back fill the spot with a player from a team going nowhere?

The way the courts have treated things so far it seems logical they wouldn't stand in the way of a kid who wanted to make such a move to enhance his draft potential.

I happened on Zanetto's podcast from the weekend last night and he claims someone in the know told him #3 is up in the air. As I understood it, he supposedly has an issue with Dan Hurley's style of coaching and may be listening to other offers.

It was based on a one line text he received and the rest was just him making assumptions. He also says Solo is going to test the NBA waters in the same episode and Solo is already officially back. MZ has a newer podcast walking the Reed comments back.
