But do you know who did win a national championship pretty recently, during the NIL era? The team you're in this thread worrying aboutThey haven't won a Natty since 2016 either. Just saying.
I don't believe there's a team in in the country that dealt with as many serious injuries to star players as they have the past few years. They haven't won a Natty since 2016 either. Just saying.
Ever. I don't think I've ever seen a squad more impacted in any sport. It's been bizarre and unfortunate.I don't believe there's a team in in the country that dealt with as many serious injuries to star players as they have the past few years.
Women’s basketball: Why all the injuries? – Twin CitiesEver. I don't think I've ever seen a squad more impacted in any sport. It's been bizarre and unfortunate.
Exactly, like the ridiculous comments about players transferring is cooper flagg comes. Winning takes care of everything. Plenty of nil opportunities for everybodyIt always amazes me how people will try to create problems out of nothing.
I think they should all put their NIL money into one big pot and distribute it evenly among all team members, coaches, walk ons, assistants and grad assistants to make sure there’s no jealousyI'm sure they have. I said it was my concern. Obviously nobody gives a rat's behind what I think including this board. It is my opinion and it does not keep me up at night.
Every light pole on campus will have to be replaced.I just pray to god, for the sake of our program, school and community that we do not win back to back championships.
Can you imagine the devastation that would cause? Success breeds jealousy.
Yes and perhaps all nba players should make the same. I think you are referring to socialism or communism depending on degree. Then the good players will get more under the and we will be back where we started before nilI think they should all put their NIL money into one big pot and distribute it evenly among all team members, coaches, walk ons, assistants and grad assistants to make sure there’s no jealousy
Of course not. UConn should get the best players that they can as long as they fit the team philosophy. Different level, different problems. I have read articles on other teams like A & M Football that have experienced team chemistry problems due to playing time and NIL. So it can be a problem but most of you are not open-minded enough to consider that. I am sure the UConn coaching staffs have thought about that.
I should have remembered the following before I posted. "In order to find his equal an Irishman is forced to talk to God".
While other schools still chasing 1 natty. They haven't won a Natty since 2016 either. Just saying.
Hold on a second, let's not get carried away. He said it was his "only" concern.Thank goodness we have the Boneyard to advise our coaching staff and athletic department. Chances are that no one in those ranks has thought at all about the concerns you've voiced...
Then Miami went on to go to the Final Four. So maybe it’s not that big of a deal?I mean, we saw this last off season when Isaiah Wong briefly entered the portal because he was pissed Miami paid Pack so much more. Obviously it’s something relevant to team cohesion but Danny also seems like he is recruiting high character kids.

No, the point is that even when people try to create these "problems" like Miami had with NIL it turns out they're all meaningless and don't remotely affect the on court productThe point is their best player entered the portal because of drama related to NIL. Not everyone has the coffers of Miami. Other than that, spot on.
Throw in numerous girls leaving early for the WNBA, too, which isn't something we had to worry about nearly as much back in the dayI don't believe there's a team in in the country that dealt with as many serious injuries to star players as they have the past few years.
It was only 1 million. It hasn’t appeared to affect the women’s team chemistry with Paige getting millions her freshman year
As long as players are team first and respect their teammates its a non issue. Hurley is not recruiting selfish guys so will not be an issueIt was only 1 million.
(The following year Azzi Fudd joined her making nearly the same.)
