I thought Gary Blair did a great job during TAMU's run in 2010-2011. And Kim did a nice job with her 2005 team.

I also think you need to look at some of the mid majors. Wisconsin Green Bay, Marist, St. Bonneventure, Dayton, maybe a few others? I also think Washington is a terrific x's and o's coach - i was way impressed with PSU today. Also, who's the coach of Cal Berkeley? I'd put Sherri Coale in there somewhere too... and the ones already mentioned - Blair, Tara, Jeff W, Muffet. I could see UCONN and ND being the two top dogs in years to come with other teams occasionally crashing the party when they have a great season. I'm not ready to anoint Duke's Joanne McCalley as much of anything other than a great recruiter since the Duke fans I know think she's not a good coach...

I agree with Coale, Jabir at Dayton, Washington, the guy at Marist for sure, and the Green Bay guy. I like the guy at Gonzaga also. Does Rizotti qualify? Whatever happened to the guy who was at George Washington for so many years? He seemed to get a lot out of his teams, and then went to Northwestern and sort of disappeared. Okay, I know that is literally what happened to him, but does anyone know why it did?
