They can’t be divided. They have to stick together. Not sure it was a great decision unless ESPN2 is giving two hours coverage to the boycott.

Well they got 45 minutes. Now ESPN2 is covering the NBA’s boycott.

Thursday’s games being postponed for WNBA, maybe to even things out. Looks like they might be following the NBA’s lead. Hopefully game action will resume on Friday and missed games will be rescheduled somehow.

Not bad getting some rest as a side benefit. Probably make up one day by having games on Monday.

Games probably coming back Friday

The announcement was made by Nneka Ogwumike, president of the WNBA Players Association, during the 2 p.m. “SportsCenter” broadcast on ESPN as part of a roundtable including five other current players.

Ogwumike said WNBA games, played at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, could continue on Friday.

“I feel like as a group we decided last night that we want to play,” Ogwumike said. “There are games scheduled tomorrow and that’s what we’re ready to do. That doesn’t come without of course demands of players to continue to amplify our voices in more ways than when we came here. We realize that the work is not easy but we also realize that the work is never done.
