I have not been this psyched about a game in a long time. And that means I am super-psyched because I even get up for games against cellar-dwellers. So the day is dragging by. Working from home and getting nothing done. Soaking up every morsel of info on the game and the kids and the atmosphere. Thinking about doing some laundry or working in the yard if the weather dries up – anything to occupy my mind. There is the SC-Louisville game at 7:00 as a distraction. But I keep going back and forth on who I want to win that one. Maybe we need to ask Chris Dailey to put together activities to occupy fans during the final four, like she does for the team.

So .... any thoughts? How are you dealing with the weight of the wait?

I am at work right now (stop laughing) and I'll be here until 2:30-3PM. Then I will leave to do my grocery shopping and pick up something for dinner (Friday is always take out night). Get home, put everything away, do laundry and then collapse in my recliner. I'm going to skip taking a nap, it has been a long week and if I try to nap I'll end up sleeping until tomorrow morning.

This is a tough Final Four, it's my first one without my mom who passed very suddenly in January. She was also a big UConn fan. In fact she was the one who got me hooked, me who never liked basketball and couldn't even be paid to watch it.

Chewing on my fingernails and trying to keep busy. I play guitar so it can pass time and walk to dog is good 2. I hope Paige washed her cape and puts it on early. Then they will focus on her and it will open up things for Christyn and Azzi. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!

Sitting by the phone until about 7pm EDT, answering unsolicited healthcare calls and scamming phone calls from "Amazon". Forgot about the credit card companies wanting to eliminate my balances.

My niece's soccer team is playing in the 3rd round of the state playoffs. I would not miss it.

It's not just a huge game for her team, which has had their best season in recent memory, but for her and her family, as she's a senior and these playoffs will effectively mark the end of her soccer career, by her choice. The next phase of her life, and her parents' lives (she's their youngest), awaits.

Went through that after daughter quit her sophomore year at Cuse. They will miss it but life goes on. Stay busy. Wife and I started tennis. Knee problems are forcing us to look for pickle ball courts.

Healthcare and Amazon scams? Those are new to me. I'm still (after a short respite) getting the car warranty and calls from "Comcast" wanting to fix my router.
The good news: NHRA is racing (4 Wide) in Las Vegas (and I have a season pass).

We're on Norwegian Getaway, tootling back from Nassau at 12 knots (leisurely).
We're scheduled for a nice French dinner at 7; therefore paying no heed to the first game
Can't watch in any case; internet too slow.
We'll follow along on ESPN's game summery; play by play and try to ascertain the essence.

My follow 'yarders may be interested in a dream I had last night.
That Paige and Azzi really go off, Caroline would be a big help in frustrating Haley Jones
and the game would be an old-fashioned UConn ass-whooping.

Let it be true,,,

Maybe a bucket list deal...the concussion factor must be off-the-scale but, I'd rather savor a longer day - 2 at a time.
FWIW: Both Charlotte and Las Vegas are wonderful facilities.

Working until about 5:00
5:15 is Mass
After Mass the wife and I are headed to this BYOB spot. Because it is still Lent I'm getting the Seafood (clams, mussels , calamari, & shrimp) over linguini with the white sauce. She will probably get the shrimp fra diavolo over angel hair.
We'll both bring home desert-tiramisu for me lemon pound cake for her.

So let's win this one for Dorka and your Mom. Go Huskies!
