Mensah got a shot at 2nd and 1 and didn't get it done. Next play false start and 3rd and 6. Only Nate Hopkins has,shown this ability.

I’m not much for moral victories but I thought they played hard got some bad breaks. Pindell isn’t the future for sure. The oline needs to keep getting better and the defense needs to be blown up.

My recollection is RJ was too tentative to hit holes or get behind blocks and was stopped plenty on short yardage.

I like Pindell. He is serviceable. If he is pushed out at QB it will be a good sign.

If one of Washington/Krajewski/McAfee beats him out, I won't feel too nervous about him coming in at QB2. That doesn't sound like much, but it's a nice feeling given how the past few years have gone.

Three way battle this spring; Pindell, Washington and McAfee. McAfee gets to audition without pressure imo, but maybe he doesn’t feel that way.
