So, uh . . . . . . . . here's the UCF game chat.

Britton with a nice solo tackle there...

Pressure continues to work. So keep doing it please...

The DBs are immediately heading backwards to cover an anticipated post route at snap with an 8 yard cushion... holy crap

And that's what happens when the blitz gets picked up, I guess. Still, I'd rather us stay aggressive even with the inexperience behind them...

The receiver didn’t have a DB within 7 yards of him when he caught that pass.

Please tell me this D will be better next year. Holy cow.

If the freshmen DBs become faster, stronger sophomores, then yes. If not... :(

9 games in and we can't run a basic zone cover. That is pathetic. A DB standing flat footed not moving to tackle an open reciever is pathetic. They have coached any sense of aggression out of the D back field.

Ok so we are slow. No scheme is going to make up for that. But there are breakdowns in the secondary week after, week. If not Crocker, then Cox has got to go. Receivers that open with defenders out of position is inexcusable.

I know. Which is why Crocker doesn't blitz all that often, I suspect. Our DBs are bad right now, obviously...

Pindell has to work on his slide. He stays too vertical.

That had nothing to do with the blitz. Joseph and the DB got split and both stood in space covering no one after he ran past. Somebody had cover responsibility there.

Check what I said about the DBs above your post. They're not good...

.-.
Pindell looks good. If the started all the games, a bowl bid would have been possible.

I thought they were going to take away that 1st down
