Newsome short yardage is a proven multi- year failure. Yet, let's do it some more.

You see glimpses of Edsall building this team back up.

Have to get better at 3rd and 4th and 1. Rbs too tentative on those. That is not Arkeels game but he will be gone next year anyway.

Defense has to get more aggressive and I don't care about scheme. Guys are too apprehensive. Have to start dishing out hard hits and not try tackles guy with the effort required of a fair catch. Better discipline and teaching also. Wide open guys in the secondary week after week is a coaching issue.

Generally when you have to go 1 yard, choosing to start 6 yards back is a bad idea.

By my count, three short yardage failures and three penalties would have had this game pretty even. Ugh...
