Did anyone notice Ed Cooley walking off before the end of the game? No handshake with Dave, that was weird.

Yes I noticed it too. He looked disgusted with his own team and and I don’t think he was trying to disrespect DePaul but inadvertently he kind of did by throwing a little fit

DePaul is playing with House Money and they'll be loose tonight. Respect the opponent and execute on the things that we do well.

Defense/Boards/Efficient Offense.. Make FTs. Play as a Team.

Time to turn on the Bright Lights and have some fun. This is why you came to UConn.

The 2011 run started with a beat down of DePaul in the BET. I'm just saying.

I hope we see a beat down. I'd love to watch a UConn game where I don't have to sweat the 2nd half.
One of the many reasons 2004 is my favorite Husky team. Zero stress in ncaas save the Dook game, which was so stressful! All the other games were blowouts. Had so many bigs (Emeka, Boone, then CV, Hilton off bench!) and great depth except pg.

Before someone posts, "It's hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season," does anyone have that stat about the record in 3rd meetings when a team has already beaten another team twice?
We beat Carmelo Anthony three times the year he won the NC

Need RJ to stay in front of the Mad Fisherman. Was hoping for PC and a possible quad 2 win

Statistically the team that won twice wins the third game more often than not (for basketball it’s around 75%)
@businesslawyer thinks the fact that the twice-beaten team wins 25% of the time on the third try supports the hypothesis that it's hard to beat a team three times. ?

We match up very well against Depaul. There is a size advantage, skill advantage, and their best players (Moore and Freeman) will have to face some pretty tough defensive matchups.

One thing of note, Sanogo played a total of 17 minutes during the first two meetings. They have not seen this version of UConn.

no PC just isnt good and depaul couldnt catch a break all season
Qualify it however you want but your notion of “no trap games in a tournament” is beyond silly

I would take the points, even in our game. DePaul is not a pushover.

We could comfortably play the game at a 10 point margin and never cover.

Wow. You want everyone to know that you're worse at letting go of a gnarled bone than even I am? Strange thing to be proud of.
