After the last game there were calls for apologies and praise and worship saying he had taken it to another level. Yeah not so much.

People on this board can't live in the moment, when he has a bad game he's a bust, when you has a great game he's a future HOF. The second you praise this team is the 2nd they lose.

He's a duck*ing college student who will have good games and bad games as he matures.
This is exactly my point. The kid has his ups and downs and many here trash him. The second he has a great game hes the greatest thing since sliced bread. This wasnt a thread bashing the kid as some of you seem to think but it was a call out on the fairweather posters.

Purvis gave us a preview against SMU and took it away. Nothing more needs to be said other than he needs more time/work.

The problem is his teammates, sadly even our juniors, also need more time/work. Collectively we are just not ready. Ain't nothing wrong or bad about that, its just hurts that its Div 1 and we very have few players Div 1 ready (UConn standards).

What's that term? . . . . . 'work in progress'. Yeah, that cliche applies to our 2014-2015 Huskies.

Would like to see Purvis worry a little more about finishing a layup instead of fighting the other team every game. His body language at times is awful.

Unfortunately, if you read the North Carolina board from when Purvis played there and transferred, the very same criticisms of his game
were sited. In the end, he was benched. Two years later, despite having played with Bazz and Boat, despite being coached by former point guards, he is still making the same mistakes. Purvis has had a lot of college ball under his laces so he may be one of those guys that who never quite gets it. Or too quote the New Haven legend Sly Williams when he missed a Knick's practice one day his excuse was that there was a "slight death" in the family. Some guys just never get it.

Purvis is Purvis. It has been quite clear since early in the year that the guy is going to be streaky. It seems unlikely that that's ever going to change.

Ollie just has to understand that and use it appropriately.

Purvis is what he is, inconsistent. Hrad to tell because everyone shot poor last night. They took away the lane so he couldn't drive to the whole. My only complaint is the 3-6 form the line. I thought he was going to continue to get better there. Hopefully XL Center is where he plays best
