Silverio Ford (@LovePeopleSprts) just tweeted that the Tabor team already has 4 D1 commits (UConn, South Carolina, Boston College, and Providence). This team has to be one of the most talented high school teams in the country. I'm curious to see where the national high school polls have them ranked to start the year.

What player at Tabor has committed to UCONN? I'm new to this board and although I know who the 2016 commits are, I don't know the names of their high schools.

I'm excited about her academic credentials, too - Dartmouth and Columbia were on her list along with some basketball powers. Even a top athlete can't get into an Ivy without topnotch academic credentials. That makes me as happy as her basketball skills.

Bent plays on that team? It will be interesting to see if she starts her senior year and what her production/game is like.

I think that's Bradshaw with the ball (front and center) and Bent to her left (#10).

Molly Bent has verballed to UCONN.

I just did a bit of research and it seems that they both play at the same time as they averaged the same amount of points last year (12) and were named Co-Team MVP's and NEPSAC All-Stars. If I were the coach I would have a blended offense where they both play and it would just be situational who plays the point and who the SG is. When you have that type of talent on a high school team they both need to play.

Would like to see Tabor Academy play Blair Academy sometime this year.
Plenty of HS showcase tournaments where/when this could easily happen.

Good stuff thanks! I wondered how she'd perform. Nice to see her pretty much even to a top 50 rated kid!

Tabor has been family's prep school for a few generations. I never expected to see them as a basketball powerhouse. Sailing, yes. BBall, not so much. Things change over the years.

Molly has played at Tabor for 2 years and made the New England Class A All-Star team both years.

Some info on her academics:

"Bent never received less than an A+ in any course while attending Barnstable High and she’s maintained that A-average at Tabor in spite of a heavy academic workload at the Advanced Placement level."
