Geno at the beginning of that particular segment actually said, "I'll start it" and proceeded to touch CD on the face, while she tried to hit him back and said, "that's the 2nd time......"

Yeah I interpreted that as him trying to make fun of it.

I also think he's cleverly distancing himself from it so it will be "their" thing.
