Awesome. I hope someone reposts this next weekend. I'll forget about it.

Wonder if Ricky Moore makes the list. He had a huge beginning to that first title game over Dook.

I wonder if it is a true "All-time" top ten or just a Big East era top ten. If it is a true all-time team it would be hard to keep someone like Toby Kimball off (18.4 points and 17.9 rebounds for a career and 9 year NBA player).

Name your top 10 for impact to the program while in uniform
I have no idea how to put them in order but locks for my list: Kemba, Rip, Ray, Caron, Donyell, Mek, Ben G, El Amin. I'll say the last 3 are negotiable. You probably go Ricky on that list for defense alone.

I'll throw Chris Smith in there. After that I think it just comes down to personal preference.

I loved Doron, K free, Adrien, and Shad as some of my all time favorite players.

Extend it a half hour plus... Once again the Mets are causing problems just by existing

This is actually awful. I'm already done. Tim Welsh's smile is hilarious - "I'm still here, someone please offer me a job? Pretty please?"

Ray Allen over Kemba and Rip? I think I would've put it:

1. Rip
2. Kemba
3. Ray

Rudy Gay should have been number 1.
your joking right?

I didnt agree with the order of the list but they had all the players i wouldve put up. although i never saw kimbell play what i read of what he accomplished with leading the nation and rebounding and getting uconn into the tourney is deserving. my top ten would be:

1. rip
2. kemba
3. ray
4. mek
5. caron
6. donyell
7. smith
8. kimball
9. ben
10. kea

I love Ray as much as anyone, but the lack of a Final Four keeps him out of the No. 1 spot for me. Given offense, defense and championships, I'd have been happy with Emeka at No. 1

I can't see Kemba coming around and having a career like Ray's. Ray is a HOF. So if you are defining this honor as related to UConn and after, I can see him being #1.

If it is related, instead, to their time at UConn, your 1-2-3 have to be Kemba, Rip, and Emeka.

Rip's teams went to: NIT, Elite 8, NC
Emeka's teams went to: Elite 8, S16, NC
Kemba's teams went to: FF, NIT, NC

Rip was the guy all three years (at least the second half of year one). His team was stacked, but the scoring centered around him.

Emeka was the fourth option or so on the 2002 team. He was the guy his second and third year (although he wasn't the leading scorer, he was the acknowledged best player).

Due to the injury to Dyson, Kemba ended up being the fourth leading scorer, and was crucial in their victory over Mizzou. His second year he wasn't the guy because he wasn't really ready until the second half of the year, but couldn't outrank the seniors. He was the super guy his junior year on a team that was so young it is insane.

I think any three of these could be number one. Rip was the guy year one because no one else was there--otherwise he would have waited like Ray and Kemba.

Thinking about it like this, all three have their pros and cons. I might go with Kemba because his team should never have won the title. But you cannot go wrong with any of them.

Its difficult to pick amongst the top 4. I would have picked Kemba as #1. He was involved in 2 final fours, scored the most points in a season, and had his jersey retired immediately. Everyone loves Ray, but he never took his teams to a final four.

Any UConn Top 10 without Wes B. on it is suspect
