I agree we need a bigger media presence. Donny would be the perfect candidate if he were to ever be available -- hopefully he moves up the ranks to ESPN though. What's Jake Voskuhl up to?

There's a lot of things out of Warde's control with CR but this is one thing he should address. Whatever happened to the "announcers have been approved by UConn" disclaimer that JoeD always reads on the air?

Pretty sure this would not be tolerated in the rest of the big-boy basketball club (Louisville, Kentucky, UNC, etc etc). on their home broadcasts. Ridiculous.

Getting people into the pipeline requires time. I like Emily Noonan. She should end up in a pro gig somewhere. Hopefully there are others being groomed like her.

Fired? C'mon, . .. . .these analyst gigs arent full-time. Let Tarik do St. John's and whatever other college hoops SNY does. In theory, UConn is supposed to be their marquee product. SNY makes a big deal about having Meghan Pattyson doing color and Kara Wolters doing studio work for the women's games. Should be a similar arrangement for the men.

Speaking of Donny Marshall, we saw him Saturday morning around 10:00 in NYC at 48th and Lexington. We're standing there and all of a sudden my friend says, "That's Donny Marshall." He was on his cell phone but we yelled, "UConn Huskies," and pointed at him. He waives to us and laughs. Then my friend yells, "My wife loves you!" He started cracking up.
