I asked before on another thread why SNY could not have had a pregame / postgame show for the Stanford game. I do not see conflicts with other venues??

They don't if they aren't also showing the game. Those shows are probably loss leaders, so without the main source of revenue - the game itself - there's not much value in having those shows.

Perhaps in a middle of the season but for the 1st game when the UConn fandom were at a ravenous peak to see the season start and learn any inside stuff, I believe it would have better ratings than what they were showing. But then I don't run a network.
