Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory

Mayala is a first year RKG....

How can Warde Manuel be this stupid? Going by his eloquence of speech, I am surprised he is even Michigan AD. How the heck did Buffalo and UConn hire him? Because this is a sad indication of how small the "talent pool" is when it comes to running athletics when many can do better from their computers.

Too much muscle-memory for losing. It will take some to undo, the question is whether the program has enough time before completely falling into the abyss.

If this isn't the abyss I shudder to think what is.

Just when you thought you've hit rock bottom another cellar door opens. Edsall(who quit on UConn) replaces a bad used car salesman and brings the Huskies all the way back to a..... 3-9 record. The same record they had last year. Of course the excuse everyone in the Boneyard will use is, "Well the cupboard was bare". The cupboard has been bare since 2010 and one of the reasons he left in the first place. That's the main problem with this program. The cupboard is always bare.

For three quarters Cinci couldn't score jack against the worst defense in the AAC. But of course they take the lead with a little over a minute left. Then, just to add insult to injury UConn marches down the field and scores a touchdown only to blow the extra point on yet another brain fart penalty and a rushed attempt.

Chances that Lashlee will be back next season, 50-50 at best. Recruiting if he goes takes a huge hit. Nobody is buying UConn if the only coach on the staff able to make something from nothing leaves.

When is this curse going to end?
