SMU leads by 7 with 8 minutes left in the first half. Would be a nice win for SMU/AAC

Everybody's beating Michigan lately, so it won't mean anything. But SMU does have Kennedy back now, so they'll likely be a problem in our way if we need to win the AAC Tourney.

Cincy with 8 points against VCU 12 minutes in meanwhile...

Kinda boring game, or maybe its Saturday and I haven't brought shiet yet, or just looking for something more exciting to do.

SMU and Temple are getting big time reinforcements this week. The Temple kids coming in are going to raise their play quite a bit.

Rothstein must be very happy the Kennedy has returned to SMU...

@JonRothstein: SMU now has won six straight games after today's road victory at Michigan. If at full strength, Ponies are the team to beat in the AAC.

Michigan is awful this year. About as impressive as RUs football win

It's a good win for the conference and SMU will be a tournament team. If UCONN earns a bid to the tournament this will be a two maybe three bid league.

Conference wins will be tougher than people here think. We will be up against sold out arenas in just about every road game.

This league will not be easy to win.
Nothing against SMU but Michigan already has losses to NJIT which I didn't realise had gone D1 and Eastern Michigan. This is not the 2013 national runner up.

Of course Michigan sucks right now, but it's possible this win could look a lot better for SMU later in the season. Michigan has a lot of young players, and despite their struggles they've already got two decent wins over Oregon and Syracuse and they played Villanova to the wire. If they put it together they'll be a middle of the pack Big Ten team.

Michigan was favored in the game, winning on the road is never easy.

We get it, you think Michigan stinks (they have wins over Cuse and Oregon), it is a solid win for SMU no matter how you slice it.

Big game for the conference on Monday when Temple hosts Kansas.

Temple just added two good players to their roster and they now have a deep team, if they can upset Kansas they will be on a huge roll going into league play.

SMU is good and they will get better, that will be a tough 2 games again for the Huskies no doubt!
