On now. CBSSN. Should be a good game. SMU tough at home.

good for the conf and UConn, SMU gets another quality win to solidify their resume, and SMU will be a quality win when UConn smashes them in Gampel
On the other hand, doesn't it also weaken the quality of our Memphis win?
Considering we play every AAC team twice, doesn't every game between AAC opponents have zero net impact ("equal and opposite") on our RPI?

how does Memphis losing on the road to what should be a tourney team weaken UConn's win on their home floor? Assuming Memphis doesn't go completely off the rails and maintains their position as a tourney team, it still will qualify as a quality win. The top 5 of this conf can withstand loses to each other and not have them destroy the team's rep.
gotcha, and yea I hope others now realize that our loss to SMU should no longer be grouped with Houston. It was definitely a winnable game if Bazz played better but there's no shame in losing to them in their building, I expect them to at least get one of Cincy/Lou when they make their trips there.I'm just saying, mathematically, SMU beating Memphis makes our loss vs. SMU look better and our win vs. Memphis look worse. It's basically a wash for us. There's not a lot of controversy in my statement.
