Anyone notice that Collier has this ability to hang during her shot?

Yes, it's an unusually floaty/graceful release.

Most of the time when I see a player take a fadeaway I think "Stop doing that; take the shot vertically to get a decent FG%, dang it!" When Napheesa takes a fadeaway jumper, I just assume it's going in the basket. :)

This is a tough shooting game. They're going to have to grind.

Technically, no. No one, not even Jordan, can "hang" in the air. Physics.
That said, there are players that give that illusion.

Southern Methodist is not a bad team. They play tenacious defense, they push the ball up court, and they can make buckets. UConn is playing very well mostly, and SMU is forcing them to play hard. SMU is going to win several more games this season. Just that UConn is making them look bad.

Not any more, but it's pretty well documented that Michael in his prime was capable of entering a low-altitude geo-synchronous earth orbit.

Why does Natalie have to try and bounce the ball so much before she shoots? Gets her in trouble every time.

The Gabby and Collier afraid to touch Froling for fear of fouling. Butler just having issues covering her.
