no one will slash to the basket like kemba or dyson. all we do is jump shots. lamb will do runners, but not real slashes

Agreed. UConn was in the bonus around the 10 minute mark today, but did they even shot any 1-and-1's? Same thing happened in the Cincy game. Calhoun teams of the past feasted at the FT line once their opponent was over the limit by slashing to the hoop and getting hacked.

Boat provides a slasher to a certain extent, but he isn't as effective as he was slashing prior to the start of the Big East season. Perhaps his height is becoming more of an issue when he drives into the lane against bigger and quicker Big East players. In the losses to SHU and RU get got stuffed or striped quite a few times when he took the ball in the paint.

By slashing you bring the d closer to the basket and then can kick it out for a better outside shot. Hurts that I miss dyson

Agreed, either you have to slash, be a threat to score and kick out or dump in, be a threat and kick out. So obvious we have none.
