Sky Hook

Was just watching some Kareem highlight videos of the sky hook and he started out when in college back to the basket 1/2 way between the foul line and most times without putting the ball on the floor from a high catch position. Later on went out to as far as 18-20 feet. I think AB could be taught to do this, he has good touch on his foul shots and from 8-10 feet he could just pivot and put the ball up soft. This sounds crazy I understand given that he has only been playing a few years but why not dream?

I remember Marc Suhr throwing up a perfect skyhook once. Nothing but nylon. Then, I never saw him do it again.
