Im surprised by the "likes slow methodical pace" and "doesn't get much in transition". Kinda weird to see those statements in reference to a UCONN team.

UConn does look for good and open shots (Napier excluded, he just random fires) but they they don't deliberately take the air out of the ball like some teams do. Also a very controlled break, but certainly look to run on TOs and when possible.

It's weird but a pretty fair assessment for this team. We love to run if we force turnovers but otherwise we don't really run off of scored baskets or rebound outlet and go like a lot of our vintage teams.

A little surprised by the lack of faith. Only 57% to the 2nd round and 24% to the 3rd?

Didn't you hear? The AAC sucks, except for Louisville, who is going to the ACC next year. But they didn't play anyone tough this year because they're in the AAC. The beat 5 top 25 teams, but three of those were against UConn, who sucks because they are in the AAC. ESPN said so, so it must be true.

Well I guess there's only on thing left to do...

I don't know whether we win our first or second game, both will be tough.
If we somehow manage to make it to MSG. We will be on one of our home courts.
That's always a plus.

Good luck UConn. Not only did they screw our league seedlings in the tournament (well, screwed is putting it gently for what they did to SMU), putting three of us in the same bracket (and of course, the three that are all staying), no real way for the league to prove itself.

Sadly, I find myself even routing for the Ville in this tourney. I am in two brackets and have you guys losing to Vil in one and the game after in another. Think you guys are really good, just haven't shown the magic to win six tough games in a row.

Unfortunately I have the tigers getting past gw in both my brackets, but Virginia takes us in one and mich st. Repeats their last years decimation of us in another.

So while I have each of the four getting at least one round, think both the style of play and draw has me faced with routing for the Ville to get to the final four.

Here is to hoping you guys screw up my bracket, but bring the conference huge respect for next season.

I think our first two games are winnable, but I think it's a fair assessment that we might not move on after that. I find it hard that they might beat a team like ISU or MSU. I think they'd have a shot to beat Virginia if they got there. I just feel like ISU and MSU have matchups that can beat us down pretty good. I think we can contend with any team that plays a slow pace.
