3 Huskies on the list...

Emeka at # 66

Kemba at 53

Rip at 47

Personally, I think Kemba should be higher. They seemed to give a lot of weight to very early players, even though the tourney wasn't what it is today in the old days. I've certainly got no problem with their top 10 (except maybe Bradley should be a few notches lower), but then it starts getting squirrely.

Also, they seem to think Emeka helped win the championship as a senior. Emeka graduated in 3 years, so was a Junior during the 2004 tourney.

Danny Manning and Kemba literally carried their teams to championships. How they are not in the top 10 is beyond me.

Exactly.

When I think of best NCAA all-time, I instantly think of Kemba and Danny Manning - when I saw this title, I was wondering which would be one and which would be two.

I get Alcindor and others. Part of it feels like it should be performances over a long period of time--so, if you performed well over multiple seasons, better.

But they were inconsistent with that. Kemba had two Final Fours...in the only two tournaments he was in. And he was crucial in each run.

He should have been much higher...definitely higher than either of our other two entrants. And...why the hell was Mateen Cleaves ahead of him?

^^ I feel like so many media people forget that Kemba was on the 2009 Final Four team.

Based on the criteria on that list he should be Top 15 at worst.

To be fair, many of our own fans seem to forget that we did anything between 2004 and 2011.

I loved Elvin Hayes, but man, he never won the damned tourney, did he? Seems like that should push him well down below #20.

Horrible list. Reads more like what they did in the career than what they did in the NCAA tournaments.

Kemba should be top 20 at the very least.

Way too much conference and regular season talk in that list. And Mateen Cleaves played hurt ? Big F'in deal.

Kemba is/was the best tournament player since Laettner. Anybody saying otherwise is selling some bullshit.

One of my favorite stories, but one that was completely untold, during our 2011 run was Kemba's redemption. He got back to the Final Four in 2011 and gave himself the opportunity able to redeem himself for a poor performance in the 2009 FF (after basically carrying us there in the Missouri game in the Elite 8).
